Comparison review
The Huawei Mate 30 is slightly better than the Xiaomi Mi 9, getting an 84 score against 83.2. Even being the best we compare here, we must note that it is also a a little bit thicker and somewhat heavier phone. Huawei Mate 30's processing unit is very similar to Xiaomi Mi 9's processor, and although the Huawei Mate 30 has 2 GB more RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core processor.
The Xiaomi Mi 9 has a little more vivid display than Huawei Mate 30, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, and they both have the same 1080 x 2340 resolution, the Xiaomi Mi 9 also counts with a little greater pixel number per inch in the screen. Huawei Mate 30 counts with as much memory to store more apps and games as Xiaomi Mi 9, they have the same 128 GB internal storage.
Xiaomi Mi 9 takes clearer videos and photos than Huawei Mate 30, because although it has a lot tinier camera sensor capturing much lower quality pictures, and they both have the same video quality, a same size aperture and the same video frame rate, the Xiaomi Mi 9 also counts with a camera with a higher 48 mega-pixels resolution.
