Comparison review
The Huawei P40 Pro is slightly better than the Xiaomi Mi 9, having an 88.2 score against 83.2. Huawei P40 Pro's construction is newer, but thicker and heavier than Xiaomi Mi 9. Huawei P40 Pro's processing unit is just as good as Xiaomi Mi 9's processing unit, and although the Huawei P40 Pro has a larger amount of RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit.
Xiaomi Mi 9 has a bit more vivid display than Huawei P40 Pro, although it has a bit lower resolution of 1080 x 2340px, a quite worse screen density and a little bit smaller display. The Huawei P40 Pro captures a little bit better photographs and videos than Xiaomi Mi 9, because although it has a tinier aperture, and they both have the same video frame rates and the same (4K) video resolution, the Huawei P40 Pro also counts with a way larger back camera sensor capturing much higher quality videos and photographs and a camera in the back with more mega-pixels.
The Huawei P40 Pro's memory capacity to store more games and applications is just as good as Xiaomi Mi 9's one, they have exactly the same internal storage. Huawei P40 Pro has longer battery lifetime than Xiaomi Mi 9, because it has 4200mAh of battery capacity.
