Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi 9 is just a bit better than LG Q8, having a general score of 83.2 against 77.2. The Xiaomi Mi 9 design is newer and just a little thinner, but also somewhat heavier than the LG Q8. The Xiaomi Mi 9 features a bit faster processor than LG Q8, because it has more RAM memory and a higher number of cores.
The LG Q8 counts with a slightly better display than Xiaomi Mi 9, because although it has less brightness and a little smaller display, it also counts with a better 1440 x 2560px resolution and a higher screen density. Xiaomi Mi 9 shoots much better photographs and videos than LG Q8, and although they both have the same (4K) video resolution and a F1.8 diafragm aperture, the Xiaomi Mi 9 also has a lot larger back-facing camera sensor, faster 60 frames per second video frame rates and a way better 48 mega-pixels resolution camera.
