Comparison review
The LG Velvet is a bit better than the Xiaomi Mi 9, getting an 87.1 score against 83.2. LG Velvet's body is newer than Xiaomi Mi 9's, although it's just a little heavier and a little bit thicker. Xiaomi Mi 9 features a bit superior processor than LG Velvet. Both have the same RAM memory amount and 8 CPU cores.
Xiaomi Mi 9 counts with a little more vivid screen than LG Velvet, because although it has a bit smaller display and a little worse 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution, it also counts with a quite higher pixel number per display inch. LG Velvet has a very superior memory to store more games and applications than Xiaomi Mi 9, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal memory, the LG Velvet also has a SD memory slot that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB.
LG Velvet has greater battery duration than Xiaomi Mi 9, because it has a 4300mAh battery size against 3300mAh. Xiaomi Mi 9 shoots a little bit better photographs and videos than LG Velvet, and although they both have a 0.5 inches back camera sensor, a camera with a 48 mega-pixels resolution, the same (4K) video resolution and a same size aperture, the Xiaomi Mi 9 also has faster 60 fps video frame rates.
