Xiaomi Mi 9 has a global score of 83.2, which is a little bit better than Samsung Galaxy A30's 79.6 overall score. The Xiaomi Mi 9 is a just a little heavier cellphone than Samsung Galaxy A30, but both have the same thickness. The Xiaomi Mi 9 has a bit sharper display than Galaxy A30. Both of them have a better number of pixels per inch of display, a screen of the same size and exactly the same 1080 x 2340 resolution.
Galaxy A30 has a quite bigger storage to store more apps and games than Xiaomi Mi 9, because although it has only 64 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with a SD card slot that allows up to 512 GB. Xiaomi Mi 9 has a bit better CPU than Galaxy A30, and although they both have 8 cores, the Xiaomi Mi 9 also has a larger amount of RAM.
The Galaxy A30 counts with improved battery life than Xiaomi Mi 9, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity. The Xiaomi Mi 9 has a lot better camera than Galaxy A30, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not recommended for taking images in low-light situations, it also counts with a much better (4K) video quality, a much larger back camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors and a back facing camera with lot more mega-pixels.
