Comparison review
Galaxy A50 has a score of 83.8, which is just a bit better than Xiaomi Mi 9's overall score of 83.2. The Galaxy A50 body has the same thickness than the Xiaomi Mi 9, but it is a bit lighter. Xiaomi Mi 9 features just a bit better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy A50. Both have the same screen density, the same exact 1080 x 2340 resolution and a display of the same size.
Xiaomi Mi 9 has a little faster processor than Samsung Galaxy A50, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Xiaomi Mi 9 also has 2 GB more RAM memory. Xiaomi Mi 9 counts with a better camera than Galaxy A50, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not favorable for shooting pictures and videos in poorly lited situations, it also counts with a camera in the back with lot more mega pixels, a much larger back-facing camera sensor providing a much higher image quality and a lot higher (4K) video quality.
The Galaxy A50 has much more storage capacity for applications and games than Xiaomi Mi 9, and although they both have the same internal memory, the Galaxy A50 also has an external memory slot that supports a maximum of 512 GB. The Galaxy A50 has greater battery lifetime than Xiaomi Mi 9, because it has a 21 percent bigger battery capacity.
