Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi 9 is a little bit better than Samsung Galaxy J8, having an 83.2 score against 76.7. Although the Xiaomi Mi 9 and Samsung Galaxy J8 were released with only a few months difference, the Xiaomi Mi 9 is just a little bit thinner and just a little lighter. Xiaomi Mi 9 features a bit better processing power than Galaxy J8, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xiaomi Mi 9 also has 2 GB more RAM.
The Xiaomi Mi 9 features a sharper display than Samsung Galaxy J8, because it has more pixels per inch in the screen, a much higher 1080 x 2340 resolution and a little larger screen. Xiaomi Mi 9 counts with a way better camera than Samsung Galaxy J8, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not good for taking photographs or videos in poorly lited environments, it also counts with a much better 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, a way larger sensor taking way higher quality photos and a back-facing camera with a much higher 48 megapixels resolution.
The Galaxy J8 features a little bit more storage for apps and games than Xiaomi Mi 9, because although it has 0 less internal memory, it also counts with a SD memory card expansion slot that supports up to 256 GB. The Galaxy J8 features a little better battery duration than Xiaomi Mi 9, because it has a 3500mAh battery size.
