Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi 9 is a bit better than Galaxy S5 Sport, getting an 83.2 score against 77.8. Even though Xiaomi Mi 9 is a little bit heavier than Galaxy S5 Sport, it's thinner and also newer. The Xiaomi Mi 9 has a little bit better hardware performance than Galaxy S5 Sport, because although it has doesn't have an additional GPU, it also counts with a larger amount of RAM and 4 more CPU cores.
The Galaxy S5 Sport counts with a bit more vivid screen than Xiaomi Mi 9, because although it has a lot smaller display and a quite lower 1920 x 1080 resolution, it also counts with a just a bit higher pixels quantity per inch in the display.
