The Samsung Galaxy S6 has a global score of 87.4, which is slightly better than the Xiaomi Mi 9's 83.2 global score. The Samsung Galaxy S6 is an noticeably older phone than Xiaomi Mi 9, but Samsung was able to make it lighter and just a little thinner. Galaxy S6 features just a little better processing power than Xiaomi Mi 9, because although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, and they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Galaxy S6 also counts with an extra graphics processor and a 64 bits CPU.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 counts with a much better display than Xiaomi Mi 9, because although it has a way smaller screen, it also counts with a better 2560 x 1440 resolution and a greater pixel count in each inch in the screen. The Xiaomi Mi 9 has a lot better camera than Samsung Galaxy S6, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Xiaomi Mi 9 also has a bigger camera aperture to capture better photography and video in poorly lited situations, a lot larger sensor shooting much higher quality videos and photographs, a much more mega pixels back-facing camera and higher 60 fps video frame rate.
The Samsung Galaxy S6's memory for applications, games, photos and videos is just as good as Xiaomi Mi 9's one, both have exactly the same internal memory. The Xiaomi Mi 9 has better battery performance than Galaxy S6, because it has 3300mAh of battery capacity.
