Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi 9 is slightly better than the Xperia Z5, having an 83.2 score against 77.6. Xiaomi Mi 9 is a a lot newer phone than the Xperia Z5, but it is a little thicker and somewhat heavier. Xiaomi Mi 9 counts with a little bit better hardware performance than Sony Xperia Z5, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics processing unit, and they both have 8 processing cores, the Xiaomi Mi 9 also counts with a larger amount of RAM memory.
The Sony Xperia Z5 counts with a little sharper display than Xiaomi Mi 9, because although it has a little worse resolution of 1920 x 1080px and a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a just a little greater pixel density. The Xiaomi Mi 9 captures much better photographs and videos than Xperia Z5, and although they both have a same size aperture and the same (4K) video resolution, the Xiaomi Mi 9 also has a larger back camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors, higher video frame rates and a camera with lot more MP.
Xiaomi Mi 9 features a quite bigger storage for games and applications than Xperia Z5, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with more internal storage capacity. Xiaomi Mi 9 features a little better battery life than Sony Xperia Z5, because it has 3300mAh of battery capacity against 2900mAh.
