Comparison review
Xiaomi Black Shark 3 has a global score of 86.6, which is a little bit better than Xiaomi Mi 9's 83.2 global score. Although the Xiaomi Black Shark 3 is newer than Xiaomi Mi 9, it is way thicker and a lot heavier. The Xiaomi Mi 9 has a slightly better display than Xiaomi Black Shark 3, because although it has a little bit lower resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a little better pixel amount in each inch in the display.
The Xiaomi Black Shark 3's memory to install applications and games is very similar to the Xiaomi Mi 9 one, both have equal 128 GB internal memory. Xiaomi Mi 9 and Xiaomi Black Shark 3 both have quite similar processing units, and although the Xiaomi Black Shark 3 has a greater amount of RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit.
The Xiaomi Black Shark 3 counts with a very superior battery life than Xiaomi Mi 9, because it has a 43% greater battery capacity. Xiaomi Black Shark 3 takes a little bit better pictures and videos than Xiaomi Mi 9, and although they both have a F1.8 aperture, the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and the same video frame rate, the Xiaomi Black Shark 3 also has a back camera with lot more mega-pixels and a bigger back-facing camera sensor capturing better quality videos and pictures.
