Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi 9 has an overall score of 83.2, which is just a bit better than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus's 78.1 general score. Although Xiaomi Mi 9 is a bit heavier than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, it's a bit thinner and also noticeably newer. Xiaomi Mi 9 features just a little better processing power than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, and although they both have 6 GB of RAM memory, the Xiaomi Mi 9 also has a larger number of cores (and faster).
The Xiaomi Mi 9 features a bit sharper display than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, because it has a bit bigger screen, a just a bit more pixels per screen inch, a bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2340 and a little bit more display brightness. Xiaomi Mi 9 has a very superior camera than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Xiaomi Mi 9 also has higher 60 fps video frame rate, a larger aperture, a lot bigger camera sensor shooting way higher quality videos and photos and a way more mega-pixels camera in the back.
Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus's storage capacity for apps and games is very similar to Xiaomi Mi 9's one, they have exactly the same internal memory. Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus counts with a little longer battery life than Xiaomi Mi 9, because it has a 3800mAh battery capacity instead of 3300mAh.
