Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi 8 is slightly better than the Xiaomi Mi 9, getting an 83.3 score against 83.2. Xiaomi Mi 8's construction has the same thickness than Xiaomi Mi 9, but it's just a bit heavier. The Xiaomi Mi 8 and Xiaomi Mi 9 have similar processors, they have the same RAM memory amount and the same number of cores.
Xiaomi Mi 8 has a display that is very similar to the Xiaomi Mi 9 one, and although the Xiaomi Mi 8 has a just a little inferior quantity of pixels per screen inch, a bit worse resolution of 1080 x 2248px and a little smaller screen, they both have the same screen brightness. The Xiaomi Mi 8 counts with a way bigger storage capacity for apps and games than Xiaomi Mi 9, because it has 256 GB internal storage.
The Xiaomi Mi 9 takes way better videos and photos than Xiaomi Mi 8, and although they both have the same camera aperture and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the Xiaomi Mi 9 also has a lot more MP back camera, a lot larger sensor and faster video frame rates.
