Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi 9 is just a bit better than Xiaomi Mi A3, having an 83.2 score against 79.2. Xiaomi Mi 9 is a just a little thinner and just a bit lighter device than Xiaomi Mi A3, although both were released with only 5 months difference. Xiaomi Mi 9 features a sharper display than Xiaomi Mi A3, because it has a quite bigger screen, a lot higher 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution and a higher screen density.
Xiaomi Mi 9 counts with a bit better processing unit than Xiaomi Mi A3, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Xiaomi Mi 9 also has more RAM. Xiaomi Mi A3 features a very superior storage capacity for games and applications than Xiaomi Mi 9, and although they both have the same 128 GB internal memory, the Xiaomi Mi A3 also has a SD extension slot that supports up to 256 GB.
Xiaomi Mi A3 has superior battery duration than Xiaomi Mi 9, because it has 4030mAh of battery capacity instead of 3300mAh. The Xiaomi Mi 9 captures just a bit better photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi A3, and although they both have a back camera with a 48 mega-pixels, the same camera aperture and the same 3840x2160 video definition, the Xiaomi Mi 9 also has a larger sensor capturing better quality videos and photographs and better 60 frames per second video frame rate.
