Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi 9 is slightly better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7, getting a score of 83.2 against 80.3. Although the Xiaomi Mi 9 and the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 were released with only 2 months difference, the Xiaomi Mi 9 is a bit lighter and just a little thinner. Xiaomi Mi 9 features just a bit better looking display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 7, because although it has a just a bit inferior quantity of pixels per inch in the screen, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 1080 x 2340px, the Xiaomi Mi 9 also counts with a quite bigger display.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 features a very superior storage capacity to store more games and applications than Xiaomi Mi 9, and although they both have the same 128 GB internal memory capacity, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 also has a SD card slot that allows up to 256 GB. The Xiaomi Mi 9 features a bit better processor than Xiaomi Redmi Note 7, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Xiaomi Mi 9 also has a higher amount of RAM.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 counts with longer battery duration than Xiaomi Mi 9, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity against 3300mAh. Xiaomi Mi 9 captures a bit better pictures and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 7, and although they both have a 48 MP camera in the back, a F1.8 aperture and a 0.5 inches sensor, the Xiaomi Mi 9 also has a much better (4K) video quality.
