Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro has an overall score of 82.7, which is a little bit better than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium's global score of 79.8. The Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro is a notably newer phone than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, but it is thicker and a bit heavier. These devices use Android OS, but Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro has newer 10 version while Sony Xperia Z5 Premium has Android 5.1, giving some additional features.
Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro counts with a bit better performance than Xperia Z5 Premium, because although it has doesn't have a graphics co-processor, and they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro also counts with a higher amount of RAM memory. Sony Xperia Z5 Premium features a much more vibrant screen than Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a lot higher resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels and a much better pixel number per inch of display.
The Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro shoots much clearer photos and videos than Xperia Z5 Premium, and although they both have a same size camera aperture and the same (4K) video resolution, the Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro also has higher 60 frames per second video frame rates, a camera in the back with lot more megapixels and a bigger back camera sensor providing a better image quality.
Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro counts with a greater memory capacity to install games and applications than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with more internal storage. Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro has a little longer battery lifetime than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, because it has a 17 percent greater battery size.
