The Xiaomi Mi 9T is a bit better than the LG G7 ThinQ, having a score of 82.2 against 81. Xiaomi Mi 9T's construction is newer than LG G7 ThinQ's, but it is somewhat thicker and somewhat heavier. These phones use Android OS, but Xiaomi Mi 9T has older 10 version and LG G7 ThinQ has Android 9.0 Pie.

The LG G7 ThinQ counts with a brighter display than Xiaomi Mi 9T, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with more pixels per display inch, a higher resolution of 1440 x 3120 and a lot brighter screen. LG G7 ThinQ has a much greater memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi 9T, because although it has just 64 GB internal memory, it also counts with a slot for external memory cards that admits up to 1,95 TB.

The LG G7 ThinQ features a bit more powerful processing unit than Xiaomi Mi 9T, although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit. The Xiaomi Mi 9T takes better pictures and videos than LG G7 ThinQ, because although it has slower 30 fps video frame rates and a smaller aperture which is not recommended for capturing photographs or video in low-light environments, and they both have the same (4K) video definition, the Xiaomi Mi 9T also counts with a camera in the back with a way better 48 megapixels resolution and a way larger sensor which offers a lot higher image and video quality.

Xiaomi Mi 9T has better battery life than LG G7 ThinQ, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity instead of 3000mAh.
