The Xiaomi Mi 9T has a general score of 82.2, which is a bit better than the Moto G8 Power's general score of 76. The Xiaomi Mi 9T is an older phone than Moto G8 Power, but Xiaomi managed to make it just a bit lighter and just a bit thinner anyway. Both phones in this review use the same Android 10 operating system, so they should give the same operating system features.

The Xiaomi Mi 9T features a little more vivid display than Moto G8 Power, and although they both have a same size display, the Xiaomi Mi 9T also has a bit higher pixels quantity in each inch in the screen and a slightly better resolution of 1080 x 2340px. Moto G8 Power has a better storage for applications and games than Xiaomi Mi 9T, because although it has 0 less internal memory, it also counts with an external SD slot that supports up to 512 GB.

The Xiaomi Mi 9T counts with just a little better performance than Moto G8 Power, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Xiaomi Mi 9T also has a higher amount of RAM. The Moto G8 Power features longer battery performance than Xiaomi Mi 9T, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity instead of 4000mAh.

The Xiaomi Mi 9T features a superior camera than Moto G8 Power, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not nice for low light images and video, and they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rate and the same video definition, the Xiaomi Mi 9T also counts with a way bigger back-facing camera sensor providing a lot higher image quality and a camera with much more mega pixels.
