Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi 9T has a score of 82.2, which is a little bit better than the Galaxy A30's global score of 79.6. Despite being the best phone in this comparison, Xiaomi Mi 9T's body is heavier and thicker than Galaxy A30. Xiaomi Mi 9T has a little more vivid display than Galaxy A30. Both of them have a display of the same size, the same pixels density and the same exact 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution.
The Galaxy A30 counts with a quite bigger storage for games and applications than Xiaomi Mi 9T, because although it has just 64 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with a slot for external memory cards that allows a maximum of 512 GB. The Xiaomi Mi 9T counts with a bit better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy A30, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Xiaomi Mi 9T also has a greater amount of RAM.
The Galaxy A30 counts with a battery lifetime that is just as good as the battery performance in Xiaomi Mi 9T. The Xiaomi Mi 9T features a lot better camera than Samsung Galaxy A30, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not recommended for low light images and videos, it also counts with a lot better (4K) video resolution, a back facing camera with a lot better resolution and a way bigger back camera sensor capturing lot better quality photographs.
