Comparison review
The Galaxy A42 is a little bit better than Xiaomi Mi 9T, with a general score of 87 against 82.2. Both devices in our current comparison come with Android operating system, but Galaxy A42 has newer 11 version and Xiaomi Mi 9T has Android 10, so it provides you a lot of extra features and performance tweaks. The Galaxy A42 design is newer and just a little thinner than the Xiaomi Mi 9T's, although it is also just a little heavier.
The Xiaomi Mi 9T counts with a brighter screen than Galaxy A42, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a much higher pixel density and a lot higher 1080 x 2340 resolution. The Galaxy A42 features a very superior storage for applications and games than Xiaomi Mi 9T, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal memory capacity, the Galaxy A42 also has an external memory card slot that holds up to 1000 GB.
Xiaomi Mi 9T has a bit better CPU than Galaxy A42, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xiaomi Mi 9T also has a greater amount of RAM memory. Samsung Galaxy A42 has superior battery performance than Xiaomi Mi 9T, because it has a 25 percent more battery size. Xiaomi Mi 9T features a little bit better camera than Galaxy A42. Both of them have a camera in the back with a 48 mega-pixels resolution, the same (4K) video definition, a same size camera aperture and the same 30 fps video frame rate.
