Samsung Galaxy M30 is just a bit better than the Xiaomi Mi 9T, with an 82.4 score against 82.2. The Samsung Galaxy M30 construction is just a bit thinner and just a little lighter than Xiaomi Mi 9T, even when both were released only 3 months apart. Both phones in this review work with Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy M30 has newer 9.0 Pie version and Xiaomi Mi 9T has Android 10 version, giving a couple additional features.
The Xiaomi Mi 9T has a little better performance than Galaxy M30. Both have 6 GB of RAM and 8 CPU cores. Xiaomi Mi 9T features a little sharper screen than Galaxy M30, and although they both have a display of the same size, the Xiaomi Mi 9T also has a bit higher 1080 x 2340 resolution and a just a little higher screen density.
Xiaomi Mi 9T counts with a way better camera than Galaxy M30, because it has a much better (4K) video definition, a way bigger back-facing camera sensor taking lot higher quality photos and videos, a larger aperture to capture better low light photography and a back-facing camera with a much better 48 MP resolution.
The Galaxy M30 features much more storage capacity to store more games and applications than Xiaomi Mi 9T, and although they both have equal internal storage, the Galaxy M30 also has a SD memory card expansion slot that supports up to 512 GB. Samsung Galaxy M30 counts with better battery lifetime than Xiaomi Mi 9T, because it has a 25 percent larger battery size.
