Both phones in this review have Android operating system, but the Xiaomi Mi 9T has a newer 10 version while Galaxy Note 4 has Android 5.0, so it gives a lot of extra features and improved performance.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 features a bit better processing power than Xiaomi Mi 9T, because although it has a lower amount of RAM and a lower number of cores (although faster), it also counts with a graphics processor. The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has a better display than Xiaomi Mi 9T, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a higher 2560 x 1440px resolution and more pixels per inch in the screen.

Xiaomi Mi 9T counts with a superior memory for applications and games than Galaxy Note 4, because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with 96 GB more internal storage. The Xiaomi Mi 9T features a much better camera than Galaxy Note 4, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the Xiaomi Mi 9T also has a much larger camera sensor which gives a way higher photo and video quality, a much more megapixels camera and a larger aperture.
