Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi 9T is slightly better than the Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, having a general score of 82.2 against 78.1. Xiaomi Mi 9T's construction is newer, but somewhat heavier and somewhat thicker than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus. Both devices we compare here have Android OS (operating system), but the Xiaomi Mi 9T has an older 10 version and Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus has Android 6.0 Marshmallow version.
Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus counts with a screen that's just as good as Xiaomi Mi 9T's display, because although the Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus has a bit lower pixel density, a bit smaller display and a bit worse 1080 x 1920px resolution, it also counts with more brightness. Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus counts with as much storage for apps and games as the Xiaomi Mi 9T one, both of them have the same internal storage.
The Xiaomi Mi 9T features a bit superior processing unit than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, and although they both have 6 GB of RAM, the Xiaomi Mi 9T also has a higher number of cores. Xiaomi Mi 9T counts with just a little better battery life than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity instead of 3800mAh.
The Xiaomi Mi 9T shoots greater photographs and videos than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the Xiaomi Mi 9T also has a way larger sensor providing a much higher image quality, a bigger camera aperture and a much more megapixels camera.
