Comparison review
The Asus ROG Phone 8 has an overall score of 79.5, which is just a bit better than Xiaomi Mi A1's global score of 75. The Asus ROG Phone 8 body is a lot newer, but way heavier and somewhat thicker than the Xiaomi Mi A1. These phones have Android operating system, but the Asus ROG Phone 8 has the older 14 version while Xiaomi Mi A1 has Android 9.0 Pie version.
Asus ROG Phone 8 counts with a better display than Xiaomi Mi A1, because although it has a just a little worse display density, it also counts with a slightly higher 1080 x 2400 resolution, a much brighter screen and a larger display. Xiaomi Mi A1 counts with a much faster processing unit than Asus ROG Phone 8, although it has lesser RAM, they both have the same number of cores.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 features a very superior memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi A1, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal memory capacity. Asus ROG Phone 8 shoots much clearer photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi A1, because it has a back-facing camera with way more mega pixels, a bigger aperture for better low-light photos and video and a much better 7680x4320 video definition.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 features a really longer battery lifetime than Xiaomi Mi A1, because it has a 5500mAh battery capacity.
