Xperia XZ2 Premium has an overall score of 82.2, which is just a bit better than Xiaomi Mi A1's 75 overall score. The Xperia XZ2 Premium design is newer than the Xiaomi Mi A1's, but it is extremely thicker and heavier. Xperia XZ2 Premium has a bit faster CPU than Xiaomi Mi A1, and although they both have 8 cores, the Xperia XZ2 Premium also has more RAM.
The Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with a much better display than Xiaomi Mi A1, because it has a way better resolution of 2160 x 3840px, a really brighter screen, a little bigger display and a much greater pixel number per inch in the display. Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with slightly more storage capacity for apps and games than Xiaomi Mi A1, and although they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal storage, the Xperia XZ2 Premium also has a SD extension slot that admits up to 400 GB.
Xperia XZ2 Premium has a little better battery lifetime than Xiaomi Mi A1, because it has 3540mAh of battery capacity instead of 3080mAh. The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with a better camera than Xiaomi Mi A1, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and the same video frame rates, the Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium also has a back facing camera with a lot higher 19 mega-pixels resolution and a bigger camera aperture for better captures and videos in poorly lited environments.
