The Xiaomi Black Shark 4 has a general score of 88.3, which is better than the Xiaomi Mi A1's general score of 75. Both phones in this review have Android OS, but Xiaomi Black Shark 4 has the older 11 version and Xiaomi Mi A1 has Android 9.0 Pie. The Xiaomi Black Shark 4 body is notably newer, but notably thicker and a lot heavier than Xiaomi Mi A1.
The Xiaomi Black Shark 4 features a little more vivid display than Xiaomi Mi A1, because although it has a just a bit lower screen density, it also counts with a slightly better resolution of 1080 x 2400px, a larger screen and a way brighter screen. Xiaomi Mi A1 has slightly more storage for applications and games than Xiaomi Black Shark 4, because although it has 0 less internal memory, it also counts with an external SD slot that supports up to 256 GB.
The Xiaomi Black Shark 4 counts with just a little better performance than Xiaomi Mi A1, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Xiaomi Black Shark 4 also has a higher amount of RAM.
