Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi 9 is much better than Xiaomi Mi A1, getting an 83.2 score against 75. Xiaomi Mi 9's design is newer, but just a little bit heavier and a little thicker than the Xiaomi Mi A1. Xiaomi Mi 9 features a little sharper display than Xiaomi Mi A1, because it has a quite better 1080 x 2340 resolution, a brighter display, a just a bit higher screen pixels density and a larger screen.
Xiaomi Mi 9 has a bit more powerful processor than Xiaomi Mi A1, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Xiaomi Mi 9 also has more RAM memory. The Xiaomi Mi 9 features a greater camera than Xiaomi Mi A1, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Xiaomi Mi 9 also has a much more megapixels back facing camera, faster video frame rates and a bigger camera aperture for better captures and video in low light environments.
The Xiaomi Mi A1 features slightly more storage for apps and games than Xiaomi Mi 9, because although it has just 64 GB internal memory, it also counts with a slot for external memory cards that holds up to 256 GB. The Xiaomi Mi 9 has just a bit better battery performance than Xiaomi Mi A1, because it has 3300mAh of battery capacity instead of 3080mAh.
