Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 is a bit better than the Xiaomi Mi A1, getting an 81.2 score against 75. Despite being the best in our current comparison, the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 design is just a little thicker and heavier than Xiaomi Mi A1. Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 counts with a bit better processor than Xiaomi Mi A1, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 also has a larger amount of RAM.
The Xiaomi Mi A1 has a slightly better display than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, although it has a bit lower 1080 x 1920 resolution, a little bit less pixels per inch in the screen and a little smaller display. The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 has much more memory for apps and games than Xiaomi Mi A1, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with 256 GB internal memory.
Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 shoots a little bit better pictures and videos than Xiaomi Mi A1, and although they both have a camera in the back with a 12 megapixels resolution, the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and the same video frame rates, the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 also has a larger camera aperture to take better low-light photos.
Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 counts with a little better battery duration than Xiaomi Mi A1, because it has 3400mAh of battery capacity.
