Comparison review
The Xiaomi POCO M3 Pro 5G is just a bit better than the Xiaomi Mi A1, having an 80.8 score against 75. Xiaomi POCO M3 Pro 5G is a newer phone than the Xiaomi Mi A1, but it is heavier and thicker. These phones come with Android operating system, but the Xiaomi POCO M3 Pro 5G has older 11 version and Xiaomi Mi A1 has Android 9.0 Pie.
The Xiaomi Mi A1 features just a bit better screen than Xiaomi POCO M3 Pro 5G, although it has a bit smaller screen, a bit inferior number of pixels per inch of display and a little bit lower resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. Xiaomi POCO M3 Pro 5G has a little better processing power than Xiaomi Mi A1. They have a Octa-Core processor and the same RAM memory amount.
The Xiaomi POCO M3 Pro 5G shoots better pictures and videos than Xiaomi Mi A1, and although they both have the same (Full HD) video resolution and the same video frame rate, the Xiaomi POCO M3 Pro 5G also has a much higher 48 megapixels resolution back facing camera and a bigger diafragm aperture to take better captures in low light environments.
Xiaomi Mi A1 counts with a much bigger storage to store more apps and games than Xiaomi POCO M3 Pro 5G, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage capacity, the Xiaomi Mi A1 also has an external SD slot that allows up to 256 GB. Xiaomi POCO M3 Pro 5G has a much longer battery performance than Xiaomi Mi A1, because it has a 62 percent bigger battery size.
