Comparison review
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has a general score of 76.6, which is just a bit better than Xiaomi Mi A1's 75 overall score. Even though the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 is notably newer than the Xiaomi Mi A1, it is somewhat heavier and thicker. Both of these phones come with Android OS, but Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has the older 10 version while Xiaomi Mi A1 has Android 9.0 Pie.
Xiaomi Mi A1 counts with a little bit better display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because although it has a quite smaller screen and a little lower resolution of 1080 x 1920, it also counts with a little bit higher pixels amount in each screen inch. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9's processing unit is very similar to Xiaomi Mi A1's CPU, and although the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core CPU.
Xiaomi Mi A1 has a little bit more storage to install applications and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and although they both have equal 64 GB internal memory, the Xiaomi Mi A1 also has a slot for an external memory card that supports a maximum of 256 GB. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 features a much longer battery lifetime than Xiaomi Mi A1, because it has a 63 percent bigger battery size.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 takes better pictures and videos than Xiaomi Mi A1, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution and the same video frame rate, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 also has a back camera with a way better resolution and a bigger aperture to capture better low light images.
