Although the Huawei Mate 20 and Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite were released only 3 months apart, the Huawei Mate 20 design is just a bit thinner but also just a little heavier than Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite. Both of these phones include Android OS (operating system), but the Huawei Mate 20 has newer 9.0 Pie version while Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite has Android 8.1 Oreo, offering some nice extra features and optimized performance.
Huawei Mate 20 features a little more vivid screen than Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite, because although it has a just a little lower number of pixels per inch of screen and a bit lower 1080 x 2244 pixels resolution, it also counts with a little bigger screen and a really brighter display. The Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite has slightly more storage capacity to install applications and games than Huawei Mate 20, because although it has only 64 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with a SD extension slot that admits a maximum of 256 GB.
The Huawei Mate 20 counts with a bit faster CPU than Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite. Both of them have the same RAM memory amount and a Octa-Core processor. The Huawei Mate 20 counts with a much better camera than Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite, and although they both have a same resolution camera in the back, the Huawei Mate 20 also has a larger aperture and a way better video quality.
Huawei Mate 20's battery duration is very similar to Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite's battery performance.
