The Huawei Mate 20 lite has a general score of 76.2, which is slightly better than the Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite's global score of 74.3. The Huawei Mate 20 lite is a a bit lighter and somewhat thinner cellphone than Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite, even though they were only released 2 months apart. Both devices in this review come with the same Android 8.1 Oreo OS (operating system), so both of them should provide you identical OS features.
The Huawei Mate 20 lite has a little faster CPU than Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite. Both have the same number of cores and a 4 GB RAM memory. The Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite counts with a bit sharper display than Huawei Mate 20 lite, because although it has a little bit smaller display and a bit lower 1080 x 2280 pixels resolution, it also counts with a little bit better pixel density.
Huawei Mate 20 lite counts with slightly more storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite, and although they both have equal internal storage capacity, the Huawei Mate 20 lite also has an external memory card slot that holds a maximum of 512 GB.
