Xiaomi Mi A2 is a bit better than OnePlus 8 UW, getting a general score of 78 against 75.9. Xiaomi Mi A2's construction is a little lighter and a little bit thinner than the OnePlus 8 UW, despite of the fact that it was released about a year before. OnePlus 8 UW features a bit faster processing unit than Xiaomi Mi A2, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the OnePlus 8 UW also has a larger amount of RAM memory.
The OnePlus 8 UW counts with a sharper display than Xiaomi Mi A2, because it has a little higher pixel count in each display inch, a bit larger screen and a quite better resolution of 1080 x 2400. OnePlus 8 UW shoots a lot better videos and photos than Xiaomi Mi A2, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and the same camera aperture, the OnePlus 8 UW also has a back facing camera with a lot higher 48 megapixels resolution, higher video frame rate and a way larger back-facing camera sensor.
The OnePlus 8 UW's memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos is just as good as Xiaomi Mi A2's one, they have exactly the same 128 GB internal storage. OnePlus 8 UW features a much longer battery life than Xiaomi Mi A2, because it has a 4300mAh battery capacity.
