The Galaxy A8 (2018) is a little bit better than the Xiaomi Mi A2, having a overall score of 79.2 against 78. Despite being the best phone in this comparison, the Galaxy A8 (2018) is a just a little bit heavier and thicker phone than the Xiaomi Mi A2. Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) features a little bit better looking display than Xiaomi Mi A2, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a little bit better display pixel density and a little higher 1080 x 2220 resolution.
Xiaomi Mi A2 counts with a bit faster processor than Galaxy A8 (2018), and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Xiaomi Mi A2 also has a larger amount of RAM. Xiaomi Mi A2 takes a bit better photographs and videos than Galaxy A8 (2018), because although it has a camera in the back with way less MP resolution and a smaller aperture which is not recommended for capturing photos and videos in low light situations, it also counts with a much better 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution.
