Comparison review
The Xperia XZ Premium has a general score of 79.8, which is just a bit better than the Xiaomi Mi A2's general score of 78. Even though the Xperia XZ Premium is a better phone than the Xiaomi Mi A2, it must be noted that it's also an older, just a bit thicker and somewhat heavier phone. Sony Xperia XZ Premium counts with a way better display than Xiaomi Mi A2, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a much better 2160 x 3840 pixels resolution and a way higher count of pixels per screen inch.
Xperia XZ Premium has a bit better performance than Xiaomi Mi A2, although it has a lower amount of RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit. Xperia XZ Premium features a little bit more memory capacity for apps and games than Xiaomi Mi A2, because although it has just 64 GB internal storage, it also counts with a SD extension slot that allows a maximum of 256 GB.
The Xperia XZ Premium takes just a bit better photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi A2, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not recommended for taking photos and/or video in low-light situations, and they both have the same video frame rate and the same (4K) video definition, the Xperia XZ Premium also counts with a back facing camera with a much better 19 MP resolution and a much bigger back camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors.
The Sony Xperia XZ Premium features just a bit longer battery duration than Xiaomi Mi A2, because it has a 3230mAh battery capacity against 3010mAh.
