The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro has a general score of 81.1, which is just a bit better than the Xiaomi Mi A2's overall score of 78. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro body is newer, but thicker and somewhat heavier than the Xiaomi Mi A2. The Xiaomi Mi A2 has a little more vivid display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, because although it has a bit worse 1080 x 2160px resolution and a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a little higher number of pixels in each inch in the display.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro counts with more memory capacity to store more apps and games than Xiaomi Mi A2, because although it has less internal memory capacity, it also counts with a SD extension slot that admits a maximum of 512 GB.
