Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S is slightly better than the Xiaomi Mi A2, having a 79 score against 78. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S body is newer than Xiaomi Mi A2's, although it is heavier and somewhat thicker. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S's processing unit is just as good as the Xiaomi Mi A2 one, and although the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S has 2 GB less RAM, they both have 8 cores.
Xiaomi Mi A2 counts with a bit better looking display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, because although it has a bit lower resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels and a little smaller display, it also counts with a just a little higher screen pixels density. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S counts with a better storage to install games and applications than Xiaomi Mi A2, because although it has less internal storage capacity, it also counts with a SD extension slot that holds up to 512 GB.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S shoots much better videos and photos than Xiaomi Mi A2, and although they both have a F1.8 diafragm aperture, the same video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S also has a way larger camera sensor shooting much better quality photographs and videos and a lot more MP back facing camera.
