The Huawei Mate 30 has a general score of 84, which is slightly better than the Xiaomi Mi A3's global score of 79.2. The Huawei Mate 30 design has the same thickness than Xiaomi Mi A3, but it is heavier. Both phones in this review have Android OS (operating system), but the Huawei Mate 30 has an older 10 version and Xiaomi Mi A3 has Android 11.
Huawei Mate 30 counts with a bit better processing power than Xiaomi Mi A3, and although they both have 8 cores, the Huawei Mate 30 also has a higher amount of RAM memory. The Huawei Mate 30 counts with a brighter screen than Xiaomi Mi A3, because it has a way better 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution, a quite larger display and more pixels per inch in the display.
The Xiaomi Mi A3 counts with a very superior memory capacity to install applications and games than Huawei Mate 30, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage capacity, the Xiaomi Mi A3 also has an external SD slot that admits up to 256 GB. The Huawei Mate 30 has a bit superior battery performance than Xiaomi Mi A3, because it has 4200mAh of battery capacity instead of 4030mAh.
Huawei Mate 30 shoots a little bit better photographs and videos than Xiaomi Mi A3, because although it has a worse 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and a worse resolution camera, and they both have a same size diafragm aperture, the Huawei Mate 30 also counts with a way bigger back camera sensor which offers a lot higher photo and video quality.
