Both phones in this review use Android operating system, but the Xiaomi Mi A3 has the previous 11 version and Huawei nova 3 has Android 8.1 Oreo.
The Huawei nova 3 has a bit more powerful CPU than Xiaomi Mi A3, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Huawei nova 3 also has a higher amount of RAM. Huawei nova 3 has a better looking screen than Xiaomi Mi A3, because it has a much higher resolution of 1080 x 2340px, a little larger screen and a higher quantity of pixels per inch of display.
Xiaomi Mi A3 counts with a better camera than Huawei nova 3, and although they both have the same aperture, the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Xiaomi Mi A3 also has a way better resolution back facing camera. Xiaomi Mi A3 and Huawei nova 3 both count with quite similar storage for applications, games, photos and videos, they have equal 128 GB internal storage capacity and an external SD slot that admits up to 256 GB.
The Xiaomi Mi A3 counts with a bit longer battery life than Huawei nova 3, because it has a 7% bigger battery capacity.
