Sony Xperia XZ Premium has an overall score of 79.8, which is a bit better than the Xiaomi Mi A3's 79.2 overall score. Sony Xperia XZ Premium is a way older and just a little bit heavier phone than the Xiaomi Mi A3, but Sony managed to build it just a little thinner anyway. The Xperia XZ Premium counts with a lot better looking display than Xiaomi Mi A3, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a lot better pixel quantity per screen inch and a much better resolution of 2160 x 3840 pixels.
Xiaomi Mi A3 counts with a lot bigger storage capacity for applications and games than Sony Xperia XZ Premium, and although they both have a slot for SD memory cards that admits a maximum of 256 GB, the Xiaomi Mi A3 also has 128 GB internal storage capacity. The Xperia XZ Premium counts with a little faster CPU than Xiaomi Mi A3. Both have a 4 GB RAM memory and a Octa-Core processing unit.
Xiaomi Mi A3 takes better photographs and videos than Sony Xperia XZ Premium, and although they both have the same video definition, the same video frame rates and a same size back-facing camera sensor, the Xiaomi Mi A3 also has a bigger aperture to take better low-light captures and video and a camera in the back with much more mega pixels.
The Xiaomi Mi A3 has longer battery life than Sony Xperia XZ Premium, because it has a 25 percent bigger battery capacity.
