Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi 9 is a bit better than the Xiaomi Mi A3, having a general score of 83.2 against 79.2. Although Xiaomi Mi 9 and Xiaomi Mi A3 were only released with a couple of months difference, Xiaomi Mi 9 is a little lighter and just a little thinner. The Xiaomi Mi 9 features a brighter screen than Xiaomi Mi A3, because it has more pixels per inch of screen, a little bigger screen and a lot higher 1080 x 2340 resolution.
The Xiaomi Mi 9 features a little better performance than Xiaomi Mi A3, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Xiaomi Mi 9 also has a higher amount of RAM. Xiaomi Mi 9 has a bit better camera than Xiaomi Mi A3, and although they both have the same (4K) video resolution, a F1.8 camera aperture and a same resolution back-facing camera, the Xiaomi Mi 9 also has a larger sensor taking better quality pictures and videos and better video frame rates.
Xiaomi Mi A3 has a lot bigger storage for applications and games than Xiaomi Mi 9, and although they both have the same internal storage, the Xiaomi Mi A3 also has an external SD slot that supports a maximum of 256 GB. Xiaomi Mi A3 has improved battery duration than Xiaomi Mi 9, because it has a 4030mAh battery size against 3300mAh.
