The iPhone 12 Pro Max has an overall score of 93.2, which is much better than the Xiaomi Mi Max 2's 77.5 score. Although iPhone 12 Pro Max is just a little bit heavier than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, it's just a little thinner and notably newer. The Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max counts with a much better looking display than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because it has a better resolution of 1284 x 2778 pixels, a little larger display and a better pixels quantity per inch in the display.
The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 counts with a way bigger storage capacity for games and applications than iPhone 12 Pro Max, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage capacity, the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 also has an external memory card slot that admits a maximum of 128 GB. IPhone 12 Pro Max features a superior CPU than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because although it has lesser processing cores , it also counts with a larger amount of RAM memory and a 64-bit processor.
The Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max shoots a bit better photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and although they both have the same resolution back camera and the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max also has a much bigger aperture for better images in low light situations and better 60 frames per second video frame rates.

If you want to save some dollars, you can buy Xiaomi Mi Max 2, giving up a couple features, but you'll get the most with your money.
