IPhone 8 Plus has a score of 87.1, which is much better than the Xiaomi Mi Max 2's 77.5 overall score. IPhone 8 Plus's construction has the same thickness than the Xiaomi Mi Max 2, but it is just a little bit lighter. IPhone 8 Plus counts with a more powerful CPU than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because although it has less RAM memory and an inferior number of cores , it also counts with a 64-bit CPU.
The Apple iPhone 8 Plus has a much better display than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, and they both have the same resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels, the Apple iPhone 8 Plus also counts with a just a bit better pixel count in each inch of display. IPhone 8 Plus features just a bit more storage capacity to install applications and games than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with 128 GB more internal memory.
The iPhone 8 Plus features just a bit better camera than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because although it has a tinier back camera sensor, and they both have the same (4K) video quality and a same resolution camera, the iPhone 8 Plus also counts with better 60 frames per second video frame rate and a bigger camera aperture.

So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy the Apple iPhone 8 Plus, otherwise you can save some dollars and get the Xiaomi Mi Max 2, giving up some specifications.
