Apple iPhone SE (2020) has a global score of 81.5, which is a little bit better than Xiaomi Mi Max 2's global score of 77.5. The Apple iPhone SE (2020) is a notably newer phone, and it is also a little bit thinner and a lot lighter than Xiaomi Mi Max 2. The iPhone SE (2020) counts with a slightly better looking display than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, although it has a little bit inferior amount of pixels per inch of screen, a really smaller screen and a way worse resolution of 750 x 1334.
The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 features a much bigger memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than iPhone SE (2020), because it has 128 GB internal storage capacity and an external memory slot that allows up to 128 GB. IPhone SE (2020) counts with a quite better hardware performance than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because although it has 2 less processing cores (but faster) and a lower amount of RAM memory, it also counts with a 64-bit processor.
Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has a way better battery life than Apple iPhone SE (2020), because it has 5300mAh of battery capacity. IPhone SE (2020) captures slightly better photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because although it has a smaller back camera sensor which provides a lower photo and video quality, and they both have a same resolution back-facing camera and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the iPhone SE (2020) also counts with higher video frame rate and a larger camera aperture.
Although iPhone SE (2020) is a better device, it is more expensive than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Xiaomi Mi Max 2. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy iPhone SE (2020), otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the Xiaomi Mi Max 2, giving up a couple features and specs.
