Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi Max 2 is a little bit better than Asus ROG Phone, getting a overall score of 77.5 against 77.1. The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 is an older and a bit heavier cellphone than Asus ROG Phone, but Xiaomi was able to build it thinner anyway. The Asus ROG Phone counts with a brighter display than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a bit higher screen density and a slightly better resolution of 1080 x 2160.
Asus ROG Phone features just a little better hardware performance than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Asus ROG Phone also has 4 GB more RAM. Xiaomi Mi Max 2 shoots much better videos and photos than Asus ROG Phone, although it has lower 30 fps video frame rate, a tinier sensor giving a worse image quality and a tinier diafragm aperture which is not nice for low-light images and videos, they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition.
Asus ROG Phone counts with a very superior memory to store more games and applications than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with 512 GB internal storage capacity. Xiaomi Mi Max 2 features superior battery performance than Asus ROG Phone, because it has a 5300mAh battery size.
Xiaomi Mi Max 2 is not only the best phones in our comparison, but it's also a bargain compared to others, which makes it very easy to pick between these phones.
