The Google Pixel is a bit better than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, getting a general score of 80.2 against 77.5. Although Google Pixel and Xiaomi Mi Max 2 were released only 7 months apart, the Google Pixel construction is noticeably lighter but also thicker. The Google Pixel has a little more vivid display than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because although it has a lot smaller display, and they both have exactly the same 1080 x 1920 resolution, the Google Pixel also counts with a higher screen pixel density.
The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has a bit superior processing unit than Google Pixel, and although they both have 4 GB of RAM memory, the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 also has a higher number of cores (although slower). Xiaomi Mi Max 2 features much more storage capacity to store more apps and games than Google Pixel, and although they both have the same 128 GB internal storage, the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 also has a slot for SD memory cards that supports a maximum of 128 GB.
The Google Pixel shoots slightly better photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and the same video frame rates, the Google Pixel also has a way bigger sensor providing a much higher image quality, a bigger aperture and a back-facing camera with more mega-pixels.
The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has a much better battery performance than Google Pixel, because it has a 5300mAh battery size.
Google Pixel costs a little more money than the Xiaomi Mi Max 2, but you can get a better phone for that few extra dollars.
