Google Pixel 5 is much better than the Xiaomi Mi Max 2, having an 89 score against 77.5. Google Pixel 5's design is noticeably newer and lighter, but also a little thicker than Xiaomi Mi Max 2. Google Pixel 5 counts with a bit better performance than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Google Pixel 5 also has a higher amount of RAM memory.
The Google Pixel 5 has just a bit better screen than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a slightly higher 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution and a just a little more pixels per inch of screen. Google Pixel 5 features a little bit better camera than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and although they both have the same video resolution, the Google Pixel 5 also has higher 60 frames per second video frame rates, a much bigger aperture to take better images in low light environments, a bigger back camera sensor providing a higher image quality and a more mega-pixels back camera.
The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 counts with a much better storage capacity to store more games and applications than Google Pixel 5, and although they both have the same 128 GB internal storage, the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 also has a slot for an SD memory card that allows a maximum of 128 GB. The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has longer battery lifetime than Google Pixel 5, because it has 5300mAh of battery capacity.
The Google Pixel 5 costs a lot more than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, but you can get a better phone for that few extra dollars.
