Comparison review
The HTC One M9 is just a bit better than the Xiaomi Mi Max 2, having a overall score of 77.7 against 77.5. HTC One M9 is an a lot older and notably thicker phone than the Xiaomi Mi Max 2, but HTC could make it lighter anyway. HTC One M9 has a little faster processor than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because although it has less RAM memory, and they both have 8 cores, the HTC One M9 also counts with an additional graphics processing unit and a 64 bits processor.
The HTC One M9 has a lot better screen than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because although it has a way smaller screen, and they both have the same resolution of 1920 x 1080, the HTC One M9 also counts with a higher display pixels density. Xiaomi Mi Max 2 counts with a way bigger memory capacity for apps and games than HTC One M9, and although they both have an external memory slot that supports a maximum of 128 GB, the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 also has 96 GB more internal storage.
The HTC One M9 counts with a little bit better camera than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and although they both have a same size diafragm aperture, the same (4K) video quality and the same video frame rates, the HTC One M9 also has a lot more MP back camera and a bigger camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors.
