Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 is a little bit better than the HTC U Ultra, having a global score of 77.5 against 77. Xiaomi Mi Max 2's design is heavier but just a little thinner than HTC U Ultra, and both were only released with a couple months difference. The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 counts with a little bit better performance than HTC U Ultra, and although they both have 4 GB of RAM memory, the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 also has a larger number of cores.
The HTC U Ultra counts with a sharper display than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a better resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels and a better display pixel density. The HTC U Ultra takes a little bit better videos and photos than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and although they both have a camera with a 12 megapixels, the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 video definition, the HTC U Ultra also has a lot bigger back-facing camera sensor and a bigger aperture to capture better images and videos in low light situations.
HTC U Ultra has more storage to store more apps and games than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because although it has only 64 GB internal memory, it also counts with a SD memory slot that admits a maximum of 1,95 TB. The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has a way better battery lifetime than HTC U Ultra, because it has 5300mAh of battery capacity against 3000mAh.
Even being the best phone in our comparison, the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 is also very cheap compared to the other phones, which makes it an obvious call.
