Comparison review
Huawei Mate 40 Pro is better than the Xiaomi Mi Max 2, getting a overall score of 90.9 against 77.5. The Huawei Mate 40 Pro construction is a lot newer than the Xiaomi Mi Max 2's, but it is somewhat thicker and a little heavier. Huawei Mate 40 Pro features a bit better processing unit than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Huawei Mate 40 Pro also has more RAM memory.
The Huawei Mate 40 Pro features a much better display than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because it has a higher resolution of 1334 x 2772, a better display pixel density and a bit larger screen. Huawei Mate 40 Pro features a very superior camera than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition, the Huawei Mate 40 Pro also has a larger aperture, higher 60 fps video frame rate, a back camera with a much higher 50 megapixels resolution and a much larger sensor which provides a way better image and video quality.
The Huawei Mate 40 Pro has a slightly better memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with 128 GB more internal memory. The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has greater battery performance than Huawei Mate 40 Pro, because it has a 5300mAh battery capacity instead of 4400mAh.
